The publishing house of the Western University of Timișoara is one of the most important university publishing houses in Romania. Established in 2001, E-UVT has an academic profile and its essential purpose is to support quality scientific research, both within the Western University of Timișoara and in other academic and university spaces.
E-UVT aims to publish and promote authors and volumes that constitute benchmarks, in the research fields addressed, for the academic and professional communities.
To ensure the quality of the content, E-UVT publications are selected following a rigorous peer-review process. The general catalog of the Western University Publishing House in Timișoara includes over 1500 titles covering numerous fields of study and research: Anthropology, Ethnology, Philology, Philosophy, Physics, Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology, Cultural Studies, Communication Sciences, Education Sciences , Economic Sciences, Political Sciences, Theology, Translation.
Following the evaluation of the National Council of Scientific Research for the period 2020-2024, E-UVT was accredited and classified for the following fields: Philology (A), Philosophy (B), Visual Arts (B), History and cultural studies (C), Cinema and Media (C) (http://www.cncs-nrc.ro/publicatii-stiintifice/).
