In accordance with The methodology regarding the implementation of the teaching staff evaluation process by students at the West University of Timișoara (UVT), starting this semester, the process of evaluating teachers by students will take place every semester in 3 stages, so:
- the first evaluation stage took place in weeks 7-8 of this semester (between November 14-24, 2024) and concerned the teaching activity carried out in the first half of the semester, and the results were made available to teachers immediately after the end of the evaluation period (starting with the 9th week of the semester, on 25.11.2024), in the form of a general report containing the average marks obtained for each question following the evaluations students and the answers to the open questions;
- the second evaluation stage will take place in the 13-14 teaching weeks of each semester, targeting the didactic activity carried out throughout the semester, and the results will be made available to the teaching staff after the end of the regulatory deadline for completing the grades in the electronic catalog related to session B of the respective semester;
- the third stage of evaluation will take place after the end of session B related to each semester, aiming at the way in which the evaluation of the way in which the learning outcomes were acquired by students throughout the semester and in the exam session was carried out, and the results will be made available to the teaching staff after the end of the regulatory deadline for completing the grades in the electronic catalog related to session B of the respective semester.
The evaluation of teaching staff by students is carried out through the platform evaluation.uvt.ro, which students log in with their institutional account details @e-uvt.ro.
Even if on the platform the students log in with the e-mail address and password of the institutional account, the evaluation of teachers by students is 100% anonymous, the answers being encrypted in such a way that the authors cannot be identified.

Currently, for each didactic activity (course, seminar, laboratory) students will complete a single teacher evaluation questionnaire, which contains: 10 mandatory questions with a scale from 1 to 10 for ten statements about the didactic activity; 3 open questions where they can elaborate on their impressions – two mandatory (strengths and weaknesses about the teaching activity) and one optional (any other comments). In the case of the questionnaire applied at the end of each semester, in the second evaluation stage, there is an additional question addressed only to those students who answered the evaluation questionnaire from the respective discipline and in stage I of the evaluation process, halfway through this semester, through which we want to find out if the feedback sent by the students produced an impact in the activity teaching conducted by the teaching staff in the second part of the semester.
