Open courses for students
West University of Timișoara (UVT) reaffirms its constant commitment to supporting the education and development of pre-university students, through initiatives aimed at facilitating their approach to the academic environment and the opportunities offered by higher education. In this context, UVT faculties offer students the opportunity to participate, as auditors, in courses held within the disciplines of the curricula of undergraduate university study programs organized by the university, alongside university teachers and students.
By participating in these teaching activities, students can observe how a university course is conducted, come into contact with concepts and themes specific to different academic fields, and interact with the university community, thus gaining a clearer perspective on the university level study experienceThis experience also gives them the opportunity to discover diverse fields of study, to better understand how university activities are carried out and to take the first steps in their academic and professional orientation.
In the 2025-2026 academic year, student participation in these courses is possible during the period March 16 - May 22, 2026 (weeks 4–12 of the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year), depending on the timetable of each subject, except for the period 4–14 April 2026, when there will be no teaching activities due to the Easter holiday. Interested students can register by filling out the form available HEREAfter completing the form, students or teachers who submitted the request will be contacted, as soon as possible, by a representative of the West University of Timisoara to confirm participation in the selected course, within the limit of available places, on a first-come, first-served basis.
For efficient organization of participation, registration for the desired courses must be made at least 48 hours before the date and time of their implementation, according to the schedule available in the central table. Requests submitted after this deadline can no longer guarantee the possibility of participating in the desired activity..
