Accommodation in UVT dormitories
Dear students,
Students who in the 2025-2026 academic year will be enrolled in the second, third or fourth year of the bachelor's degree cycle, respectively the second year of the master's degree cycle, will be able to submit applications for an accommodation place in the UVT dormitories for the following academic year through the accommodation platform. cazare.uvt.ro, from 17.07.2025 to 24.07.2025.
Students who will be in the 1st year of their bachelor's degree (except for students with Romanian status from anywhere in the XNUMXst year of the bachelor's degree cycle, who can apply) are here) and 1st year of the master's degree, admitted to one of the two university cycles in the July 2025 admission session, at UVT, starting with 20.08.2025, can apply to obtain an accommodation place in UVT dormitories for the next academic year, through the UVT accommodation platform - cazare.uvt.ro, logging in with your institutional account @e-uvt.ro which they received. The deadline to apply for a place to stay in the UVT dormitories is September 5, 2025.
Logging in to the accommodation platform can be done using the institutional account @e-uvt.ro. The process of submitting the application for obtaining an accommodation place in the UVT dormitories begins with the selection of the accommodation session among the active ones, depending on the own didactic context.
Each candidate must upload a copy of the identity document to the platform, and those who opted for accommodation based on social criteria must also upload the requested supporting documents.
The West University of Timișoara (UVT) has student dormitories located in the Student Complex of Timișoara (C12, C13, C15, C16, C17, Câminul Drept, Câminul Piața Sf. Petru) or outside it (C3, Câminul Camelia), student dormitories with 2 beds per room (C12, C13, Câminul Drept), with 3 beds per room (Căminul Camelia, Căminul Piața Sf. Petru), with 4 beds per room (C3, C16) and with 5 beds per room (C15 and C17) or dormitories with a bathroom in each room (Căminul Camelia, Câminul Drept and Căminul Piața Sf. Petru) or with a bathroom on each floor (C3, C12, C13, C15, C16, C17). All dormitories benefit from internet connection, washing machines, dryers and kitchens.
The list of UVT dormitories, as well as the facilities they offer, is available are here. The accommodation fees for the 2025-2026 academic year will be updated until the signing of the accommodation contracts for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Depending on the didactic context of the student, he will be able to select, as options, from the dormitories assigned to the faculty where he is a student, and later he will be able to establish the priority of the options (each faculty has accommodation places in certain dormitories, and the exact distribution according to the dormitories will be done later).
Selecting all available options offers a greater chance of obtaining an accommodation place. In the case of selecting only one option, if the student is not eligible for it, he/she will not be distributed to another dormitory, even if he/she had the necessary points to benefit from accommodation in that dormitory.
After submitting the application, students will receive notifications regarding the accommodation allocation process both via email and in their account on the online accommodation platform. They will also have the opportunity to resubmit the file with the additions requested by the members of the Faculty Accommodation Office, if the uploaded information is not appropriate.
The final results of the place allocation process for the 2025-2026 academic year will be communicated according to the calendar chosen by each faculty (presented below), for students in the 12nd, 2025rd or 2025th year of the undergraduate study cycle, respectively the 2025nd year of the master's study cycle who applied for an accommodation place through the UVT accommodation platform and on September 2026, XNUMX for students who were admitted in the July XNUMX admission session in the XNUMXst year of the undergraduate study cycle, respectively the XNUMXst year of the master's study cycle and who applied for an accommodation place through the UVT accommodation platform, each student being able to view on the accommodation platform whether they will benefit from an accommodation place in one of the UVT dormitories in the XNUMX-XNUMX academic year.

Actual accommodation in the UVT dormitories – September 25-26
Registration for the process of allocating an accommodation place can be done based on two criteria, each with its own formula for calculating the accommodation score:
based on school results and extracurricular activity;
Accommodation score = 0,75 * Admission average / Weighted average of the 2024-2025 academic year + points for extracurricular activity, outside the Piața Sf. Petru dormitory, where Accommodation score = Weighted average of the 2024-2025 academic year / Admission average (for the 1st year of the Master's degree)
based on social criteria – classification in a "social case" (people with disabilities/handicap, people belonging to disadvantaged categories (suffering from incurable diseases) or in situations of social need, young students coming from single-parent families, students orphaned by one or both parents, students coming from placement centers and who do not earn income above the ceiling for granting the social scholarship, young people belonging to vulnerable families (families with many children, with problems of social disorganization, living in precarious conditions), Roma people at risk, students who have reached the age of 26 and have no income, student families with both family members being UVT students, students coming from administrative-territorial units benefiting from government support, students whose place of residence is in rural areas, students whose family did not earn in the 12 months before the start of the semester/academic year an average net monthly income per family member higher than the basic salary net minimum in the economy, etc.).
Applying on the basis of social criteria, the accommodation score will consist of:
maximum 6 points awarded depending on the income achieved;
maximum 1 point granted for disabled persons;
maximum 1 point awarded for the family situation;
maximum 1 point awarded for the environment of origin;
maximum 1 point for academic activity (0,1 * Admission average/Weighted average of the 2024-2025 academic year).
Students can apply on only one criterion for obtaining an accommodation!
The platform offers the possibility of selecting the application option to benefit from an accommodation place distributed on social criteria, students who select this option being required to subsequently upload a series of supporting documents for the social situation they fall into. The list of documents required to obtain an accommodation place on social criteria is available, for each type of social case, in Annex 1 of the UVT Dormitory Accommodation Regulations.
Students applying for accommodation based on social criteria can only benefit from accommodation in dormitories rehabilitated through the PNRR program, with the following exceptions:
a) Specific medical situations;
b) Family members, brothers/sisters.

Actual accommodation in the UVT dormitories – September 25-26
Step 1: Access the online accommodation platform cazare.uvt.ro
Step 2:Authentication using the @e-UVT.ro institutional account credentials (username and password);
Step 3:Verification of personal data and the admission average/weighted average of the previous year, respectively acceptance of the conditions of use of the platform;
Step 4: Uploading documents. All students must upload a copy of their identity document, respectively those who applied based on social criteria must upload all the supporting documents related to the social case in which they belong (these must be united in the form of a single file);
CAREFUL: files must not exceed 5 MB in size.
Step 5: The selection of options (among the dormitories that are available, depending on the didactic context of the student), respectively their ranking;
Step 6: Completion of registration;
Step 7: Confirmation of the place of accommodation (which is carried out only if, following the generation of the rankings, you have obtained a place of accommodation in one of the UVT dormitories). This stage is carried out by pressing the "Confirm place" button on the accommodation platform.
If your file has not yet been validated by the Faculty Accommodation Office (BCF) and the registration period provided for in the calendar of the stage corresponding to your academic context has not ended, you have the possibility to delete the file and register again on the platform by selecting the options you want (from those available).
During the registration period, you can access your account on the online accommodation platform and re-upload the correct documents.
Conform Accommodation regulations in UVT dormitories, obtaining an accommodation based on social criteria is conditioned by the cumulative fulfillment of the following three conditions:
– promotion of the academic year;
- the net income per family member must be lower than the minimum net income for the economy;
- submission, together with the accommodation request, of the supporting documents related to the months of March-May of the current year that prove the social case, according to Annex 1 of Accommodation regulations in UVT dormitories.
After the members of the Faculty Accommodation Office (BCF) will check the file submitted by you, you will be notified on the institutional e-mail address (@e-uvt.ro) regarding the status of the file (validated, invalidated).
In this case, you must pay attention to the message sent to you by the members of the Faculty's Accommodation Office (it will be sent to your institutional email address (@e-uvt.ro), but it will also be visible in your file on the platform) and resubmit the file, adding/amending the information or documents requested by the BCF.
