In accordance with The code of rights and obligations of the student and the Regulation on the professional activity of students from the bachelor's and master's study cycles of UVT, there are a number of applications that are submitted in the period before the start of the academic year or within a certain period after its start, if the students find themselves in one of the following situations:
- have completed their last year of studies, but have not fulfilled all their obligations (passing exams) to complete their studies;
- they cannot graduate in the final year of studies due to the insufficient number of credits obtained;
- they were expelled with the right to re-enroll;
- I want to interrupt my studies;
- they are on interruption of their studies and want to resume them.
Details of each of these types of requests are available below and the period in which they can be submitted.
All taxes are paid online, via the StudentWeb platform (Financial -> Payments section), except for re-registration and extension of studies, which are paid through https://plationline.uvt.ro.
Extension of schooling
Extension of schooling it can be requested at the end of the studies, after completing the number of semesters (years of study) provided in the education plan for the normal duration of the studies, if the student has not fully completed his professional obligations and has a maximum of 5 outstanding subjects and a maximum of 30 unaccumulated compulsory credits, but has fully fulfilled the financial obligations. The extension can only be granted in the next two consecutive years after the year in which the student should have graduated.
Application for extension of studies is submitted in electronic format to the Student Info Center (via TO THIS FORM) With at least 5 working days before the start of the academic year (deadline: September 22, 2023). The Student Info Center sends the student's request, registered, to the School Management Center within one working day at the latest from its receipt. The Tuition Management Center verifies the student's eligibility for the extension and configures the student's extension fee, within no more than one business day of receiving it, and the student will be notified by e-mail about the configuration of the fee, having a term of payment of the fee 3 working days after receiving the notification.
The amount of the study extension fee is 300 lei.
For each outstanding discipline, within no more than 5 working days from the start of the academic year (deadline: October 6, 2023), the student must pay the re-contracting fee or the re-examination fee, as the case may be, in the amount determined by the UVT Senate for that academic year. If the student does not pay the fees within the established terms, the request for extension remains without effect, and the student will be expelled.
If extending the extension period with two more semesters, the student will once again pay the study extension fee, in the amount determined by the UVT Senate for the academic year in which the extension will take place, by submitting an application in electronic format to the Student Info Center, respecting the deadlines and steps mentioned above .
The student who is in the extension of studies keeps his trajectory from admission, through compliance with the educational plan related to the promotion with which he should have completed his studies.
Repetition of studies
If at the end of the second year of studies, for undergraduate university study programs that have in the curriculum a total of at least 180 compulsory credits, respectively at the end of the third year for undergraduate university study programs that have in the education plan provided a total of at least 240 compulsory credits, the student has accumulated less than 90 credits and less than 150 credits respectively, and has fully fulfilled its financial obligations towards UVT, it can request enrollment in repeating studies în the immediately following academic year of the year of studies not promoted, under the conditions in which the respective study program the schooling capacity is not fully occupied for that academic year.
Application for enrollment in repeating studies is submitted with at least 5 working days before the start of the academic year (deadline: September 22, 2023), via TO THIS FORM.
If there are places available in the study program for which repetition is requested, according to the maximum tuition capacity, the repetition fee will be set up, the student being notified by e-mail about this aspect and having 3 working days to pay the fee.
Otherwise, if there are no more places available on the study program in question, the student will be notified by e-mail about rejection of his request.
At the same time, the student registered for repeating studies must also pay recontracting or reexamination fees, as the case may be, for each outstanding discipline. All re-examination/re-contracting fees, for subjects carried out in both semesters, are paid at the latest in the first 5 working days from the beginning of the academic year (deadline: October 6, 2023). If the student does not pay the fees within the established terms, the request to repeat studies remains without effect, the student will be expelled.
Newly introduced subjects in the education plan of the promotion to which the student is aligned will be contracted by him, with the payment, within the same term specified above, of a fee established according to the number of credits related to them and the annual study fee for the respective study program.
The amount of the study repetition fee is 300 lei.
If at the end of the academic year in which the student repeated his studies, he does not pass in the higher studies year, he will be deregistered, with the right to re-register.
Re-registration
In the case of expelled students with the right to re-enroll, re-registration is done upon request, with the payment of the re-registration fee, the equivalence of the subjects promoted by the recognition and equivalence committee that operates at the faculty level and the alignment with the educational plan related to the promotion next to which it is re-enrolled. A passed exam is recognized as passed, even if the number of credits allocated to the respective discipline has been changed.
The re-registration request is submitted with at least 5 working days before the start of the academic year (deadline: September 22, 2023) at the Student Info Center, through TO THIS FORM. If the person who wishes to request re-enrollment to studies no longer has access to the e-mail address @e-uvt.ro (necessary to complete the application via the form above), the application can be sent to the e-mail address mail info@e-uvt.ro. In case of setting up the re-enrollment fee, the Tuition Management Center will inform the Student Info Center on the same day, and the student will be notified by email by the Student Info Center within one working day at most, having term 3 working days to pay it.
The amount of the re-registration fee is 300 lei.
For everyone outstanding discipline, regardless of the semester in which it takes place, the student will pay recontracting fee established by the UVT Senate for the respective academic year, in the first 5 working days from the beginning of the academic year (deadline: October 6, 2023).
Interruption of studies
The student's professional activity in full-time, part-time and distance education must normally be continuous throughout the number of semesters and years of study established by the education plan of the university study program. The student can request temporary interruption of studies.
Request to interrupt studies is submitted to the student InfoCentre, via TO THIS FORMwith at least 15 calendar days before the start of the academic year (deadline: September 17, 2023). The application for interruption of studies is submitted annually and not for more than two consecutive years. Interruption of studies in the first year is not allowed.
Interruption of studies does not affect the student's obligation to pay the study fees due until the date of submission of the request for interruption. If the student has paid the tuition fee in full in advance, it cannot be refunded if he chooses to interrupt his studies.
At the time of interruption of studies, the study contract is suspended.
Resumption of studies
In order to resume their studies, students who have interrupted their studies must submit an application to the Student Info Center (via TO THIS FORM) With at least 15 calendar days before the start of the academic year (deadline: September 17, 2023).
The student can only resume studies within the tuition capacity established for the respective study program.
When resuming studies, the student from year II, III or IV enters the reclassification procedure, taking into account the weighted average of the academic year ended before the interruption.
When resuming studies, the student will contract additionally the disciplines that appeared through the eventual modification of the education plan of the study program in which he is enrolled.
If a student does not request resuming studies before the expiration of the period of temporary interruption of studies will be expelled.
