In line with the tradition of excellence that defines its entire activity, in the 2025-2026 academic year, the West University of Timisoara (UVT) launches several firsts in the Romanian educational space, opening new perspectives for students. UVT thus continues to combine the experience and prestige, accumulated over decades, with the innovative spirit that positions it at the top of higher education in Romania.
Starting with this fall's admissions session, West University of Timişoara (UVT) proposes three new bachelor's degree programs and two new master's degree programs, designed to meet market demands and global trends in education and economics.
The rector of UVT, prof. univ. dr. Marilen Gabriel Pirtea: "The new study programs, launched by the West University of Timișoara (UVT) starting this academic year, are oriented towards unique specializations, offering more than special career openings. The world is changing, just as ideas, research and fields of knowledge are in a sharp dynamic. At UVT, we synchronize the new study programs with the avant-garde of knowledge, but also with the pace and occupational trends in the real economy. Through the master's degree programs of MBA (Master of Business Administration) or Leadership (Public Administration and Leadership), but also through the bachelor's degree programs in Design (environmental, graphic or object and digital creation), the students here, the future graduates of UVT, have direct access to the professions of the future."

UVT innovates on the national artistic scene, launching three undergraduate university study programs, two of which unique in Romania:
- Environmental design
- Graphic design (unique program at national level, initiated by UVT)
- Object design and digital creation (unique program at national level, initiated by UVT)
Through these initiatives, UVT reconfirms its role Faculty of Arts and Design as a training space for new generations of visual creators and promoters of contemporary design.
Master's Degree - Top Academic Offers
- Master of Business Administration (Master of Business Administration) – (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration – FEAA), an international program, organized within the partnership between the West University of Timisoara (UVT) and the University of West London (UWL). The master's program, unique in the western region of the country, connects students to British best practices and expertise in business and leadership.
- Public administration and leadership (Faculty of Government and Communication Sciences) – within the field of master's degree studies Administrative sciencesThe program aims to train leaders capable of transforming public institutions through modern management and governance skills.
