UVT – a landmark, a vision, a standard of education.
By inaugurating the UVT – SMART START kindergarten, West University of Timişoara adds a new soul project, dedicated to the first step in the educational life of the little ones, the step towards knowledge, research and innovation.
Education is the best investment a parent can make for their child's future. At #UVT We train graduates who inspire the community, and now we are also involved in supporting children's first steps, so that tomorrow's dynamic world is full of prepared and confident people.
UVT rector, Marilen Gabriel Pirtea:
"The West University of Timisoara constantly seeks to integrate as well as possible all the essential functions it can cover in the life of the community.
The first stage of institutionalized education begins with the preschool program that children attend in kindergarten. In today's daily life, when professional activities are becoming increasingly busy, it becomes a priority for parents to enroll their children in kindergartens that respond well to the developmental and educational needs of their children.
We are opening the new kindergarten "Smart Start UVT" and we thus join the model of multifunctional European universities, which aim to vertically integrate pre-university educational cycles, starting with preschool, kindergarten. Here we find the young children of academic and administrative staff from UVT, but also from other universities, with a similar openness for other enrollment requests from the Timisoara community.
We offer a favorable educational framework for the harmonious development of children, through which the new kindergarten will align with the European standards by which UVT is already recognized regionally and nationally."
