On September 17, at 18:00 PM, at UVT Art Center – Galeria cu Platani (4 Oituz Street, Timișoara) the exhibition opens "Scroll, Desire, Repeat", signed by artists Dumitrița Gurău, Claudia Nicola Ungureanu, Daria Frozinschi, Lucreția Țîu and Teodora Prodan, curated by Cristiana Ursache. We invite you to participate in this opening, which will be followed by an Artist Talk with the theme "Excess in deficit", a dialogue about desire, consumerism and contemporary visual culture.

The exhibition questions the aesthetics of desire and the transformation of objects into aspirational symbols through advertising and digital algorithms. "We continue to exist in an illusion of necessity. The desire to consume becomes an endless cycle: Scroll, Desire, Repeat," says curator Cristiana Ursache.

The event is part of the project "Outsourced Practices II", organized by the "George Enescu" National University of Arts Iași, in partnership with UVT Art Center, Faculty of Arts and Design within West University of Timisoara and the City Hall of Iași.

The exhibition can be visited until October 15, 2025. Admission is free.
