West University of Timişoara, present in the RUR Subject Rankings 2024 edition, is found in all six sections of the ranking: humanities, life sciences, natural sciences, technical sciences, social sciences and medical sciences, in leading positions among Romanian universities.

The performance in the fields is particularly noteworthy Social sciences (second position), a Life sciences (third position) and a Humanities (third position).

Taking all indicators into account, UVT ranks sixth nationally.

The Round University Subject Rankings is based on the information used to generate the general Round University Ranking and measures the performance of universities based on 20 performance indicators grouped into 4 indicator categories: teaching (40%), research (40%), international diversity (10%) and financial sustainability (10%).
