The Western University of Timișoara (UVT) continues in 2025 the support program for students from the whole country, consisting of preparation sessions for the baccalaureate exam, competitions dedicated to students, personal development webinars and individual career counseling.
The preparation program for the baccalaureate exam will debut on March 1 2025, with training sessions to be organized weekly, every day from Saturday, until June 7 2025, for all subjects for which students are to take written tests. Moreover, UVT also offers students a platform with learning resources - bac.uvt.ro – where they can find didactic preparation materials and test instruments for each subject for which a written test is taken in the baccalaureate exam, as well as a series of video lessons in the discipline of Romanian language and literature, all prepared and elaborated by university teaching staff of UVT.
Webinar series for students, facilitated by the Student Counseling and Support Service within the Western University of Timișoara (SCSS - UVT), has the role of supporting students in the process of personal development and self-knowledge, so that they make a responsible decision at the end of their high school studies for their professional future. The program will start with the webinar "The secret of a fulfilled life”, on March 12, 2024, following which, for 9 weeks, every Wednesday, from 15:00 p.m., a new topic will be addressed. In order to stimulate the best performing students, the Western University of Timișoara (UVT), through its component faculties, is organizing this year 26 competitions for students, in 16 fields of study, some of which go to honors students special conditions in the UVT admission process. The UVT Student Counseling and Support Service is available to students who need support in choosing their educational and professional path and individual career counseling sessions, for which they can schedule by completing TO THIS FORM. Another resource that students can benefit from, in order to better guide them towards a certain educational and professional path, is YTM platform, a psycho-vocational testing tool developed by the West University of Timișoara. Last but not least, UVT also offers an opportunity for 2025th and 17.07.2025th grade students: the West Summer University (WSU) summer school. The 03.08.2025 WSU edition will take place between XNUMX and XNUMX, and registration can be done by completing TO THIS FORM until May 11, 2024. More details about this project are available HERE.
