From the first Start to the 8th edition, it seems like only one song has passed — one that I ran with joy, at the rhythm of freedom. In reality, there are thousands of steps, thousands of stories, thousands of people who chose not to stand still.

With the desire to carry forward the freedom won in 1989, we run every year with the same thought: Dare to run.
Have the courage to start. To continue. To feel.

UVT Liberty Marathon is not just a competition. It is a living community, which put Timișoara on the map of international road marathons. It is the place where movement is a celebration and each participant – part of something bigger.

September 27th – the day the stories begin:
• Kids Race – the little ones accept a big challenge
• The Popular Race – for those who want to enjoy movement, without a stopwatch, but with all their heart.

September 28 – the day of those who exceed their limits:
• 2 km • 10.5 km • 21 km • 42 km • Relay
• Official timing, festival atmosphere, route through the heart of the city.

You come for the steps, but you stay for the community. You are part of a story that breathes, runs, smiles and encourages. At #Liberty It's not how fast you run that matters, it's how much you feel while you're doing it.
