UVT continues the implementation of the project "Digital pedagogy for pre-university teachers - InoVest DigiPedia" (ID_18)

West University of Timişoara (UVT) announces the significant progress recorded within the project ID_18 "InoVest DigiPedia. Digital pedagogy for teachers in pre-university education", funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), component C15 - Education.

The project aims to develop the digital pedagogy skills of pre-university teachers in accordance with the "DigCompEdu" framework in order to design, implement and evaluate instructional - educational activities in which digital technologies and methodologies pedagogically integrated into the educational process facilitate active learning experiences for students within the student-centered education paradigm.

Between May 1 and September 30, 2025, the project carried out training and evaluation activities, using the dedicated platform https://digipedia.uvt.ro. According to the technical report, the project has achieved so far:

  • 3605 teachers cumulatively trained in the field of digital pedagogy;
  • activities supported in multiple training series (I–IV), including synchronous and asynchronous sessions;
  • 66 trainers selected from series I and 31 from series II, following the internal selection process;
  • 1085 open educational resources published;
  • certificates issued for graduates of series I and II, according to approved procedures.

Mentoring activities (A4), preparation of best practice events (A5), training monitoring (A6) and quality assessment (A7) are also ongoing. The next stage includes expanding the mentoring program, continuing certification for active series and organizing events dedicated to the exchange of best practices.
