On November 22, a large team from the West University of Timisoara participated in the planting of the CCIFER Forest, an event dedicated to environmental responsibility and strengthening collaboration between academia and the local community. With over 30 academics, students and administrative staff present, UVT reaffirmed its commitment to the values ​​of sustainability and civic engagement.

The action, organized under the umbrella of the French Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Romania (CCIFER), brought together dozens of organizations and volunteers who joined forces to create a new forested area in the Cărpiniș locality in Timiș County, intended to contribute to combating climate change, improving air quality and strengthening the spirit of cooperation between institutions.

For UVT, participating in this event represented a new step towards strengthening the connection with the Timișoara community, but also an opportunity to promote values ​​such as social responsibility, environmental education and inter-institutional collaboration. UVT team members worked side by side, in an atmosphere full of energy and solidarity, demonstrating that university involvement goes beyond the classroom.
