"Ideas change the world. But what's the point if they're not discussed together?" Starting from this conviction and from the fact that ideas make sense when we think about and test them together, UVT's Academic Development Center (CDA) launches the first series of TalkEdUVT webinars – Voices Shaping Learning, a space for academic, collaborative-reflective and intercultural dialogue, in which the UVT and UNITA community put evidence-based ideas in dialogue with university teaching practice. The goal of this webinar series is to support a culture of informed conversation and stimulate the academic community's appetite for pedagogical ideas and solutions, which can lead to applicable solutions in teaching–learning–assessment, but also in research and innovation activities. To achieve different results, we need to do different things.
Internationally renowned experts from the University of Oslo (Norway), the Goethe University of Frankfurt (Germany) and the University of Trento (Italy) join this initiative. Starting this week, for about an hour, in online format, the CDA_UVT team invites you to the following webinars:
- Emotions in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education
- Syllabus design in Higher Education
- The elephant in the room: Teaching and Learning with Artificial Intelligence
- How AI Transforms (or Not) Higher Education
- Training collaborative skills in project work using AI-enhanced, multimodal data-supported technologies in higher education
Participation is open to UVT staff and UNITA partners.
