According to the classification Eduniversal Ranking for Best 1000 Business Schools, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration within UVT is ranked third nationally in the ranking of Good Business School With Strong Regional Influence.
The Western University of Timisoara is also present in the classification Best Masters and MBAs in the world, 2024 edition, with six master's study programs that are among the best 5820 programs in the world, from 56 fields of study. At the regional level in Central and Eastern Europe, out of 200 institutions, UVT positions itself through the programs:
- Diagnosis, Valuation and Business Consulting (Accounting field, position 15);
- International Corporate Finance (Corporate Finance field, position 20);
- Entrepreneurial Management (Entrepreneurship field, position 117);
- Financial markets (Financial Markets field, position 9);
- Advertising and Sales Promotion (Marketing field, position 17);
- Business Administration in Tourism and Hospitality Industry (Hospitality Management field, position 31).
All these programs are organized within the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
In this specialized ranking, Romanian economic faculties are present in 12 of the ranked fields, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration from the West University of Timișoara being included in six of these fields. In six of the ranked domains, FEAA is present in the first position at the national level.
This international ranking recognizes the quality and success registered by educational institutions through the organized master's study programs. The rankings are based on survey responses received from three key groups: deans and program directors, recruiting firms and alumni. Globally, the responses of 5000 recruiting companies, 100.000 graduates from over 20.000 postgraduate programs gathered from over 50 different fields were analysed.
The criteria of major importance taken into account for this ranking and which must be permanently improved by the higher education institutions are: the reputation of the master's study programs among recruiting companies, the amount of salary received at the first job immediately after graduation and the level of satisfaction of graduates versus completed master's degree programs.
