The relationship between the body, urban environment, heritage and contemporary art, in a new international conference hosted by UVT

The International Conference entitled "Urban Body – Human Body. Bridging Heritage and Contemporary Art”, organized by CICASP (Curatorial Research, Art History and Criticism, Heritage Studies), research center within the Faculty of Arts and Design, University of West Timișoara, brings together presentations that address the relationship between the body, urban environment, heritage and contemporary art .

The speakers come from countries such as Germany, Ukraine, Poland, Belgrade and Romania, being either independent researchers collaborating with different institutions and galleries, or affiliated with institutions such as the School of Fine Arts in Nantes Saint-Nazaire (École des beaux-arts de Nantes – Saint-Nazaire), the National University of Arts in Iași "George Enescu" Iași, the Faculty of Arts and Design of the Megatrend University in Belgrade, CICASP (Curatorial Research, Art History and Criticism, Heritage Studies), CR-CERC (Regional Center for Research and Expertise in Conservation and Restoration) and the Faculty of Arts and Design – West University of Timișoara.

The event takes place in English, at the Faculty of Arts and Design, Galeria Mansarda, on November 27 and 28.
