Online project presentation: "Eco/logical Learning and Simulation Environments in Higher Education" (ELSE) (2018-2021)

In the last week of October, there will be an online presentation of the objectives achieved within the Erasmus+ research project, 2018-1-ITO2-KA203-048006, Eco/logical Learning and Simulation Environments in Higher Education, in short ELSE. Coordinated by Prof. Dr. Alba Graziano, representative of the first project partner (P1), ELSE brings together 10 university institutions from inside and outside the European Union [Universita degli Studi della Tuscia, Viterbo, Italy (P1), Manchester Metropolitan University, Marea Great Britain (P2), Western University of Timisoara (P3), International Balkan University, Skopje, Macedonia (P4), Universita Politechnica di Milano, Italy (P5), University of Cyprus, Nicosia, Cyprus (P6), Universidad de Cadiz, Spain (P7), Instituto Politecnico do Porto, Portugal (P8), Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan, Poland (P9), Târgu-Mureş University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology (P11)], together with Entropy Knowledge Network ( P10), a company from Rome that offers IT services and partially provides the technical support for the implementation of the project.

ELSE focused, in 2020, on the completion and finishing of objectives 1-5, with the aim that the last objective will be put into practice next year, including during the extension period determined by the Covid pandemic. On May 25 of this year, the local project team, made up of the local coordinator, associate professor Aba-Carina Pârlog and associate professor Marius Crişan, made a presentation of the research evolution within the project and the results obtained. They are very useful in online teaching thanks to the digital tools created with the help of project partners, which can be used in any field.

The new presentation, from the end of October, will have as new elements the dissemination of the method of using the results of the first objective (IO1), of the electronic tool EVOLI (result of the collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Milan (IO2), https://evoli.altervista.org), of the ECORE creation mode (the digital tool created by the Entropy team with the help of the partners involved in the project, (IO3), https://else.entropylearningplatform.it/) and the digital teaching manual that is in the works (IO5). Objective 4 (achieved by the University of Nicosia team) involves the implementation of a self-assessment platform, E-DASH, connected to the UVT e-learning platform, which will take data from EVOLI and ECORE, but unfortunately not could still be achieved thanks to the development of e-learning in order to retrieve information related to bachelor's and dissertation papers. Once it is used in the courses, an online presentation will be made which will include the details of its usefulness in the digital age.

After finalizing the timetables of all UVT faculties, we will announce on the UVT, FLIT and DPPD websites the date of the presentation planned to take place in October and the Google Meet link.
