European Researchers' Night is an annual event, organized since 2005, which aims to bring science closer to society. This European initiative aims to stimulate public interest in the scientific understanding of the environment and to encourage young people to focus on research, innovation and technological development. Each year, the event brings together researchers, teachers, students and science enthusiasts, offering the public the opportunity to discover, through experiments and interactive demonstrations, how the world of science works.

This year too, the West University of Timisoara (UVT) continues the tradition of promoting science through a series of special activities, scheduled for the evening of September 26, 2025. Researchers and teaching staff will be actively involved, and the events will take place in the university's locations most suitable for exploring and promoting scientific knowledge:

• Visit the UVT Planetarium – On the occasion of Researchers' Night, access to the Planetarium is as follows: starting at 16 p.m., entry is organized, within the limit of available places, either by registration (organized groups, scheduled through the link at https://physics.uvt.ro/planetariu/), or by individual participation. The schedule is as follows: 16:00 – 16:50; 17:00 – 17:50; 18:00 – 18:50; 19:00 – 19:50; 20:00 – 20:50; 21:00 – 21:50; 22:00 – 22:50;
