Science Wednesday with Mădălin Bunoiu and his guests

Why do we dream? What is the purpose of dreams? Are there premonitory dreams? The origins and meaning of dreams have intrigued us since the beginning of mankind, but it was only in the 19th century that scientists attempted the first answers; these questions remain just as exciting today.

When the Brain Dreams, the book by two world-renowned sleep researchers, Antonio Zadra and Robert Stickgold, explains recent discoveries about the sleeping brain and the psychological and neurological significance of dreams, explores dream-related disorders, and shows how they can facilitate dreams, creativity and how they can be a source of self-knowledge.

Science Wednesday with Mădălin Bunoiu and his guests is an event organized by the Humanitas Publishing House in partnership with the West University of Timișoara and the independent bookstore La Doua Bufnițe
