Marathon of sports and fun on the sand: "Beach Sport Festival by MONS" returns to Timișoara, with the support of prestigious academic and institutional partners, such as UVT and JCI Romania

The Sports Center in Parcul Rozelor will become, between June 5-7, 2026, the main attraction for lovers of sand sports and outdoor events. "Beach Sport Festival by MONS" opens its doors for a new edition, aiming to bring a dynamic mix of competition, exercise and summer entertainment to the Timisoara community.

The event is designed as a multi-sport and urban relaxation festival, transforming one of the most famous locations in Timisoara into an arena dedicated to performance and good mood. This year's edition enjoys the support of prestigious academic and institutional partners, such as the West University of Timisoara and the Junior Chamber International Federation of Romania (JCI Romania).

Festival program and structure

During the three days, the general public will be able to watch a series of attractive competitions and activities:

  • Beach Volleyball Tournament (Amateur Male/Female): The main competition that will bring together passionate teams from the region and the country on the sand, offering intense matches at the net.
  • "Battle for the Crown" Night Tour: A spectacular format held under the night sky on Friday and Saturday nights (June 5-6), recognized for its dynamism and electrifying atmosphere.
  • Inter-High School Tournament (Women's Edition): A secondary competition integrated into the festival, dedicated to promoting sports among young people and high school students.
  • Beach Rugby: An additional sporting component that brings extra energy and diversity to the sandy fields.

Facilities and activities for the public

In addition to the sports component, "Beach Sport Festival by MONS" offers spectators and visitors an entire relaxation infrastructure. The festival atmosphere will be completed by a dedicated Food & Drinks area, musical moments throughout the weekend, as well as recreational activities such as the Pool Party and the famous Spuma Party, designed for the entertainment of the whole family.

The local community is invited to participate in large numbers to support the teams and enjoy the first big sand event of this summer.
