As part of the series of events "At UVT, Culture is the Capital", the academic community West University of Timisoara is pleased to invite you to participate, on June 26, 2025, from 18:00 PM, in the A01 amphitheater (UVT main headquarters, V.Pârvan no.4), at the launch event of the volume "The Last Avant-Gardist. The Mysteries of Jonathan X. Uranus, Seraphim, and Boxer", signed by Marcel TolceaIonathan X. Uranus is the pseudonym of Marcel Avramescu, a 20th-century Romanian avant-garde writer.

The book that we will discover during the event, about which Mr. Andrei Pleșu wrote that "it has all the hallmarks of an abrupt adventure, full of devastating challenges, spectacular twists and turns, of destiny", is a work that goes far beyond the biographical level, being a true incursion into the inner world of a character who never ceases to surprise us even today.

The author's guests, during this event, writers and university professors Adriana Babeți and Mircea Mihăieș, will have interventions and will discuss the spectacular volume launched by the Timișoara author.

Marcel Tolcea is a Romanian poet, essayist and publicist, specialist in journalism and communication sciences, professor at the West University of Timișoara and former director of the National Museum of Art Timișoara.
