The Faculty of Arts and Design of the West University of Timișoara is pleased to announce the organization of the MDVTM 2025 Graduate Gala, a landmark event for the Fashion – Clothing Design study program. The Gala will take place on on July 2, 2025, starting at 19:00 PM, at Iulius Congress Hall Timișoara.

The public is invited to discover on the catwalk the bachelor's and master's collections of the 2025 generation, clothing creations that reflect a variety of artistic, social and conceptual perspectives. Each collection represents a personal vision, expressed through a courageous clothing language, sometimes provocative and critical, sometimes nostalgic, refined or playful. The themes addressed by the young designers are profound and current: from sustainability versus waste, to strength and fragility, from conflict and freedom, to personal identity and collective memory. These creations are true visual stories, which highlight the analytical spirit and expressiveness of the new generation of artists.

The MDVTM 2025 Gala is coordinated by lect. univ. dr. Cristina Lazăr and asst. univ. dr. Andreea Pleșa, being organized with the support of a dedicated team of teaching staff and doctoral students: lect. univ. dr. Eugenia Riemschneider, asst. univ. dr. Mihaela Vișovan, asst. univ. dr. Evelina Tănasie, dr. Raul Pașcalău. The coordinators of the graduation projects are: prof. univ. dr. Andreea Palade, prof. univ. dr. Valentina Ștefănescu, lect. univ. dr. The event is held in partnership with Iulius Mall and is part of the "FAD35" series, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the re-establishment of the Faculty of Arts and Design in Timisoara - an opportunity to celebrate the institution's tradition, excellence and contribution to the national artistic and cultural scene.
