The Faculty of Arts and Design of the West University of Timișoara (UVT) announces the launch of Creative Platform 9, a unique artistic endeavor in the Romanian educational and cultural landscape. This initiative proposes a coherent and innovative curatorial network that brings together the faculty's exhibition spaces in a new, open and vibrant conceptual architecture.
Creative Platform 9 capitalizes on and connects nine distinct galleries, which together become a pedagogical and artistic tool of impact: Mansarda Gallery | Mică Gallery | Vertical Gallery | RestaurO2 Gallery | Future Frames Gallery | Flux Gallery | Graphica Gallery | Zona P2 Gallery | Forma Gallery.
Added to these is a permanent space dedicated to the artist Paul Neagu, a prominent figure in international conceptual art, and the UVT ArtCenter – Gallery with Platani, an exhibition space that brings art into the midst of the university community and the city.
We invite you to participate in the official opening of the Creative Platform 9, which will take place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, starting at 12:00, at the headquarters of the Faculty of Arts and Design (4 Oituz Street). We are pleased to consider the invitation open to the general public, to get to know the creative universe of FAD-UVT students and teachers, in a context that celebrates artistic expression, interdisciplinary dialogue and the effervescence of the young generation.
