In a special year for UVT, the one in which the 80th anniversary of the signing of the Royal Decree establishing the Western University of Timișoara, the agenda of events that we have brought to the community is completed on Friday, November 29, with the ceremony of granting the title of Doctor Honoris Causa Artis an exceptional personality of universal music, Distinguishedă Artist Professor Dr. Marilyn Shrude. Awarding the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Mrs. Marilyn Shrude is more than a recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of music. It is in recognition of his profound impact as a mentor, educator and artist whose legacy will continue to inspire generations; it is a testament to the alignment of our university's strategic vision with the ideals that Her Majesty embodies – creativity, research, collaboration and a deep commitment to education and cultural exchange.
