The Romanian project, entitled "Synergy of forms", marks the fifth consecutive participation of Romanian design at this major event, with the support of Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanistic Research in Venice.
The exhibition takes place from April 5 to 14, 2025, and is open to the public from April 7 to 13, and brings together the creations of students and teachers from the Department of Design and Applied Arts – Design and the Department of Visual Arts – Sculpture within the Faculty of Arts and Design of the University of Târgu Mureș. Prof. Dr. Claudia–Cristina Feti, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bogdan Raţă and Lect. Prof. Dr. Dan Vişovan.
Project "Synergy of forms" proposes an innovative exhibition installation that explores movement, collaboration and interdisciplinary evolution. Inspired by linear geometry and a modular visual language, the installation builds an immersive experience that reflects the interconnection between the disciplines of Graphic Design, Product Design and Sculpture.
Through collaboration and synergy, FAD UVT students and professors transform the exhibition space into a field of artistic and conceptual dialogue, in accordance with the general theme of the We Will Design 2025 program – "Making Kin"This year's theme urges a rethinking of human and non-human relationships, of emotional bonds based on conscious choices and common affinities.
We Will Design is an international platform that promotes emerging design and global educational collaborations, providing a testing ground for new forms of creation and reflection on the contemporary world. Through this participation, the Faculty of Arts and Design in Timișoara reconfirms its position as a promoter of innovation and international dialogue in contemporary design.
