Who should we listen to (anymore)? Between screens and mirrors – Dialogue with Mihai Maci

When every voice fights for attention, and the screens only show us mirrors of our own beliefs, we end up asking ourselves: Who should we (still) listen to?

Starting from this question, the West University of Timișoara invites you to a debate with Mihai Maci, essayist and lecturer in the Department of International Relations and European Studies of the University of Oradea.

Mihai Maci will talk to us about how our understanding of truth is transforming and how we can rediscover the authentic meaning of dialogue in an era of informational noise.

Claudiu Mesaroș, professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Turda, as well as Mihail Curelici, doctoral student in philosophy, will also take part in the dialogue.

If you have ever wondered how screens shape our way of thinking and relating, or what authentic listening means in a world of instant reactions, this event is the right place to start looking for answers.

Admission is free, subject to availability. Please reserve your spot using the registration form: https://forms.gle/bpESncNd8VCTZJbD7
