The Faculty of Letters, History and Theology within the Western University of Timișoara has launched the postgraduate study program for training and continuous professional development "The XXI/21st Teacher – A Lifelong Learning Model. Developing digital, entrepreneurial and cultural expression skills in the humanities."
The program is aimed at teachers in pre-university education, professionals and specialists in the field of humanities, university graduates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent (belonging to the field of undergraduate studies in Language and Literature/Applied Modern Languages), people who are currently studying or have graduated from the "Psycho-pedagogical training program for the certification of skills for the teaching profession" - Level I.
The duration of the course is 9 weeks of training + 1 week of final assessment (6 weeks of course/seminar activities 15 hours/week + 3 weeks of laboratory activities/practice/mentoring 18 hours/week).
Participating in this program offers numerous benefits, among them the development of skills complementary to the specialization in Language and Literature/Modern Languages applied in accordance with current needs/requirements (digital, entrepreneurial, expression and cultural identity skills), as well as obtaining immediate results (educational project proposals).
The new course is accessible online, being accredited (registered in the National Register of Postgraduate Programs with no. 282), with a total of 14 ECTS credits (equivalent at pre-university level by the House of the teaching staff, in accordance with Order no. 5967 of 6.11.2020, with a number of credits between 30 and 60).
Certainly, this program represents an investment in lifelong learning and an opportunity to exchange best practices with colleagues in the specialty or related fields.
