Faculty of Arts and Design within West University of Timisoara (UVT), in collaboration with UVT Art Center and its partners, organize the first edition of the event "Crafting the future: Fashion Talks"The program that takes place between 8 and 12 April 2025, in the UVT Art Center space (Oituz 4a), dedicated to education and innovation in the field of fashion, addressing essential themes of the fashion industry, promoting the exchange of experience between students and renowned professionals in this field.
Main activities of the event:
- Workshop: Making leather accessories
Petre Dupța, a renowned leather craftsman, will hold a workshop on making genuine leather accessories, combining traditional and modern techniques. Participants will learn how to apply a special emphasis on the quality of materials and essential details in creating luxury products. - Men's clothing, style and elegance
George Dăuceanu, representative of the GANZA brand from Timișoara, will give an interactive presentation on creating an authentic masculine look, addressing choosing the right outfits for various occasions and the importance of self-confidence through clothing style. - Pattern Cutting for the Future
Irina Akkaya, CEO of TR Fashion Academy, will lead an advanced pattern construction workshop, based on international standards, to help participants develop their creativity and acquire essential technical skills for an international career in fashion design.
An educational and inspirational event
“Crafting the Future: Fashion Talks” aims to inspire young fashion talent by providing them with the opportunity to learn from experts and understand the dynamics of the industry. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their technical skills and explore new perspectives on how fashion can influence and shape the future.
