A new conference organized by the Western University of Timisoara under the title "At UVT, Culture is the Capital" will take placeWednesday, October 6, starting at 18:00 p.m. The writer settled in France, Ioan T. Morar will dialogue with the renowned man of culture from Timisoara Mircea Mihăieș about Multiple cultural identities. The case of the Provence region.
Ioan T. Morar, graduate of Philology at the Western University of Timișoara, is the laureate of the UVT Alumnus award at the UVT Awards Gala 2019. He was a founding member of the magazine Academia Catăvencu, a member of the Divertis group until 1996, senior editor at Cotidianul and occupied for a while the position of general consul of Romania in Marseille. He is a member of the Romanian Writers' Union and one of the outstanding cultural personalities of Romania today.
The event will take place at the West University of Timișoara, Vasile Pârvan Boulevard no. 4, in the A01 amphitheater. Access is allowed only to persons vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus for whom 10 days have passed since the completion of the complete vaccination scheme and to persons who are between the 15th day and the 180th day after confirmation of infection with SARS-CoV-2.
