"Conference of New Legal Ideas", event of the Annals of the West University of Timișoara Magazine - Law Series

We are pleased to invite you to participate in "Conference of New Legal Ideas", event of the Annals of the West University of Timișoara Magazine – Law Series, organized by Faculty of Law of the West University of Timișoara, Friday, November 14, 2025, in the Aula Magna of West University of Timisoara, (4 Vasile Parvan Blvd.).

The conference is a platform for proposing and testing innovative legal ideas, through a dialogue that encourages critical analysis and constructive debate. The conference is held in a format that pits each speaker against a respondent who provides a "welcome comment" to the ideas advanced by the speaker.


The texts of the interventions and responses are to be published in a special issue of the Annals of the West University of Timișoara – Law Series, a publication co-edited by the Universul Juridic Publishing House and Western University Publishing House and indexed in the international databases ERIH Plus, HeinOnline, EBSCOhost and CEEOL. The media partner of the conference is Juridice.ro.

During the conference, papers will be presented and new legal ideas from prestigious invited researchers will be debated, according to the program structured in the two sessions.

After the opening by Prof. Dr. Lucian Bercea, Dean of the Faculty of Law of the West University of Timișoara and Prof. Dr. Claudia Roșu, Editor-in-Chief of the journal Annals of the West University of Timișoara – Law Series, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Andreea Verteș-Olteanu, West University of Timișoara, Faculty of Law, will moderate the following interventions from Session I of the conference:
