Presentation conference of the project "Digital pedagogy for pre-university teachers. INO-Vest DigiPedia. Pedagogical models and educational technologies for authentic student-centered education" (PNRR ID 18)

West University of Timişoara (UVT), as beneficiary, organizes Tuesday, January 13, 2026, the project press conference "Digital pedagogy for pre-university teachers. INO-Vest DigiPedia. Pedagogical models and educational technologies for authentic student-centered education" (PNRR ID 18), event that will take place at the main UVT headquarters (V. Pârvan no. 4), in amphitheater A01 (located on the ground floor of the university), starting from at 12.

The objective of the project is to develop the digital pedagogy skills of pre-university teachers, in order to design, implement and evaluate instructional-educational activities in which digital technologies and methodologies pedagogically integrated into the educational process facilitate active learning experiences for students. The objective is for these active learning experiences to be fit into the student-centered education paradigm, operationalized by creating a regional learning community and providing an innovative training program in accordance with the DigCompEdu framework.

The conference will be attended by representatives of the UVT management and the project team, along with representatives of the project's target group:

  • Univ. Prof. Dr. Marilen Gabriel Pirtea, the rector of the West University of Timișoara,
  • Univ. Assoc. Dr. Mădălin Bunoiu, UVT vice-rector responsible for research, development and innovation strategy, sustainability, technology transfer and relations with the diaspora,
  • Prof. Dr. Marian Ilie, project manager,
  • Univ. Assoc. Dr. Gabriel Bîzoi
  • Prof. Marius Lobaza, alongside whom there will be other teachers from the project's target group.
