The West University of Timisoara is the largest comprehensive university in the west of the country., which has 12 faculties and offers a wide range of study programs: 81 bachelor's degree programs, 96 master's degree programs and 26 doctoral degree programs. UVT study fields range from mathematics and natural sciences or social sciences, to humanities, arts and sports science and physical education. Within these, we can highlight emerging study programs, dedicated to training the skills of the future, such as Artificial Intelligence/AI, Cybersecurity, Game Art, Applied Forensic Sciences and many others.

Green, sustainable university, With a faculty dedicated to sports and a culture of outdoor movement, UVT constantly invests resources in educating young people in this regard. The remarkable results in national and international competitions of athletes from the CSU-UVT Club, the 7 successful editions of the UVT Liberty Marathon, the development of the Institute for Advanced Environmental Research (ICAM), the arrangement of the UVT urban garden, but also the adoption of selective recycling in educational spaces, are just a few of our steps towards sustainability.
