The sociological survey that reflects the quality of life in Timișoara, carried out by the Timișoara City Hall in partnership with the West University of Timișoara, called "The Quality of Life Barometer in Timișoara", is available for online completion. 

The sociological survey is designed by the Faculty of Sociology and Psychology of the Western University of Timișoara and covers all areas specific to life in the city, from the degree of satisfaction with the maintenance of historic buildings, bicycle paths, the condition of roads, public lighting or transport in common.

The latest report, regarding the data of the Quality of Life Barometer in Timișoara 2023, showed that almost 70% of Timișoara residents believe that Timișoara is heading in a good direction, increasing compared to 2022 (65,7%) and the highest since 2016, when the first report was made. The Quality of Life Barometer aims to provide relevant empirical data for the local public administration and all other institutional actors involved in the life of the city regarding the situation and social dynamics in the local community, in order to guide public policies and local strategic projects, in a regional and national context.

The barometer is made according to the methodological norms in the field and ensures the anonymization of the data of the people who provide answers. The research tool used in the "Quality of Life Barometer in Timișoara" is developed by a group of researchers in sociology, psychology, economic sciences, social geography and communication sciences from the West University of Timișoara.
