Western University of Timisoara, as Lead Partner (Partner 1), together with: Partner 2: Školski Centar "Nikola Tesla" Vršac, Serbia, Partner 3: Gimnazija "Borislav Petrov Braca" Vršac, Serbia and Partner 4: National College Bănățean Timișoara, implements starting from 3.04.2021/1/1 a cross-border cooperation project under the priority: "PA XNUMX Employment promotion and services for an inclusive growth".

The specific objective of the project is employment and labor mobility (Employment and labor mobility) and it is intended to be achieved during the 12 months of project implementation. The total value of the project is: 391 739.25 euros, of which public contribution: 58 760.90 euros and IPA funds: 332 978.35 euros.

Until this moment, vocational counseling and career guidance activities have been carried out, activities supported by the 40 teaching staff (20 Romanian teachers and 20 Serbian teachers), involved in the project's target group. These activities took place with a number of 400 students (200 Romanian students and 200 Serbian students - students from the target group), hybrid system, and aimed to guide them towards integration into the labor market and making a career decision .

In December 2021, the project's activities were aimed at: career planning, setting short, medium and long-term goals, outlining a career plan for students, but also knowing and carrying out self-marketing exercises (CV, cover letter, interview of employment).

The project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg-IPA Romania-Serbia Cross-Border Cooperation Program and offers high school students additional opportunities for career decisions, both in the Romanian Banat and in the Serbian Banat.
